Sephora Sale Top 10 Favorites

If you read my last Sephora sale post, then many of these products are familiar to you.  That is why they’re in my top ten.  I repurchase these and continue to use them because they’re so good.  The majority of my skin care comes from smaller brands right now, so there isn’t much in here.  But in terms of beauty and hair, Sephora is always my first stop.

Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops

If you self tan, and I hope you do (no skin cancer!) then these are a must!  I use them twice a week for my face and once or twice a week to touch up or maintain my body self tan.  They’re incredibly easy to use and a great complement to your regular self tanner.  I mix about one third of a dropper in my face lotion either day or night.  For my body, I miss about a full dropper per leg and arm into my body lotion and apply.  I don’t get too crazy worrying about coverage, but stick to circular motions.  Do make sure to wash your hands after!

St. Tropez Self Tanning Foam

The self tan I’m maintaining with the above drops?  This.  I try new self tanners regularly but always come back to this.  To me, there just is no better self tanner.  It works great, is easy to apply, and gives the most natural tan.  In terms of streaks, this gives the most minimal I have found.  If I want a darker tan, I reapply for buildable color.  I apply this at night and never have transfer on my clothes or sheets.  Make sure to use a mitt, particularly the St. Tropez brand, for an even more flawless application.

Hourglass Foundation Stick

I’m generally not one for stick foundations based on their thick formula and tendency to oxidize on skin.  But this is one I make an exception for.  I’m on my third one currently, making it the only foundation I repurchase.  It gives amazing coverage that is buildable.  When I want light coverage, I apply light in place of concealer and with a beauty blender.  When I want more, I apply two layers and blend with a kabuki brush.  The triangular shape helps when contouring or applying in smaller areas.  I don’t do a ton of contour, but using this in multiple shades would be great for that!

Sephora Eyeliner

I talk about my love of this eyeliner often and for good reason!  It’s the easiest liquid liner to apply.  In all honesty, I’m pretty terrible at applying eye liner.  However, with this, I feel like I can get an even line on, or a true cat eye line if I’m feeling wild.  It’s a liquid consistency with a pencil style application.  Basically, a dream for liner application.  I always buy the waterproof so that it lasts and I don’t need to reapply.  It removes easily with makeup remover or face wash though!

Sephora Concealer Brush

The Sephora brand concealer brush is amazing ladies, trust me!  I got my first one probably seven years ago and am on my third.  I use these more than any other brush I own.  Now, it’s not super pricey, and it will start to get stiff and wear down after a few years.  But the application easy and quality is worth it.  Nothing applies concealer more flawlessly for me.   I also use to apply eye base, which it does so well.  It gives you control over your blending and doesn’t require as much effort as a beauty blender.  Just make sure to clean it weekly to avoid bacteria build up!

Laneige Lip Mask

This product is so much more than an overnight lip mask.  It is a powerful moisturizer for your lips.  Don’t leave this to just night time use!  It’s a great tool when your lips are dry and cracking, all day long.  If you exfoliate your lips, this is a great product to use post scrub.   It’s thick without being sticky, heavy and light at the same time.

Nails Inc. 45 Second Top Coat

If you have a toddler whose nails you paint, this is a must have!  It truly dries in 45 seconds!  I love this when I paint my nails during the day.  The dry time is so great!  Plus, it dries hard with a durable top coat.  I do two coats of this with regular polish and I truly believe it gives me longer wear.  I touch up with it every two days or so as well.   It’s an amazing way to quickly dry toddler polish for any antsy manicurees you may have as well.

Charlotte Tillsbury Setting Powder

From the picture you can tell just how much I love this product.  It’s by far the best setting powder I have ever tried.  It comes in a compact, making it much less messy than traditional loose setting powders.  There is no white reflection after application and it helps set your makeup.  I do a light dusting with this and it sets my makeup for the day.  Plus, the compact is easy and mess free, making life that much more simple!

Christophe Robin Scalp Scrub

If you buy one thing from this post, I would say this is the number one.  I love all of these products, but this is the most life-changing.  What is it?  It’s a scalp scrub that works on every type of hair.  I have oily hair but a very dry, flakey scalp.  Yuck.  This is the only thing that I have ever tried that actually helps that.  My hair goes longer between washes and my scalp is so much less itchy and flakey.  I use this every other shampoo and it is making such a difference in my hair.  Post-wash it is bouncy, shiny and honestly feels like I just spent a day at the salon.  And I didn’t even leave the house!  You can use this and shampoo after as well.  I’m not sure what sort of voodoo magic is in this bottle, but it is pure magic.

Supergoop! Glow Screen

This is my current favorite sunscreen product for face.  Not only does it protect your skin, but it gives a subtle, beautiful glow and acts as as primer for makeup.  It’s a really great product on its own or layered under foundation.  I use it daily on its own when I’m not doing makeup.  If I’m wearing makeup without SPF in it, I always use this as my primer or base.  Under foundation, it gives a really light backlit glow to skin.  Don’t go heavy on setting powder with this though or you will negate the glow.  I’m not sure if you can tell from the picture, but it is just a gorgeous product on skin.
