Container Store Favorites

Hi friends!  Today we are going to chat about one of my favorite topics ever: The Container Store favorites!  It makes me giddy just typing it out!  The Container Store has taken functional items and made them pleasant to look at.  That is why we are willing to spend a little more there as opposed to another retailer.  Now, I’m not saying every item is worth the cost.  But there are some things that they just really and truly do better.  Actually, several things.  I truly believe a product that can give the illusion of neat and tidy when things may be complete and utter chaos is a total winner.  And today, we are going to chat about all of those!  Buckle up ladies, this is a long list and we are going to dive in!

Divided Lazy Susan

Perfect for pantries, bathrooms or playrooms.  I use these under my sink for my skin and hair care, in our kitchen for sauces, in the playroom for arts and crafts supplies and in our medicine cabinet.

Deep Stacking Bin

Work equally well in the fridge, pantry, playroom, closet or bathroom.  I’m currently using these in our pantry for snacks in three’s.  This way one can be slid on top of the other to reach the contents of the one below.  Because they are expensive for what they are, I grab one at each Container Store trip and build up a stock.

Hanging Canvas Organizer

These are great for small closets or limited drawer space.  I’ve used these for years and my love of them still grows.  They are great for sweaters, tee shirts, shorts or pants.  I prefer the shorter version (seen here) as they don’t get so weighed down and sag.

Infinity Plastic Storage Box with Lid

A great price point and awesome versatile stacking storage.  These are available in multiple sizes and can fit together almost like a puzzle.  I would not recommend putting items that you need on a daily basis in these as the lids don’t pop off super easily.

Water Hyacinth Basket

My favorite pretty baskets that are also durable.  These are beautiful for open storage and can elevate closet storage.  We keep some in our pantry for larger snack option because they are durable against ferocious little fingers.  I’m planning on getting some of the under bed version for extra closet storage next.

White Plastic Bin with Handles

Simple and functional.  I love these in pantries and playrooms.  They’re great to label with a dry erase marker and come in several sizes.  We use these in our kitchen for paper plates and cups, etc.  I also them in the playroom for toy storage.  They are available in a clear version as well.

Multi-Purpose Bins

The vertical alternative for taller cabinets or taller storage items.  These are great for papers, books and mixing and matching in tall shelving.  We use these in our kitchen cabinets where we have more vertical than horizontal shelving.  We’re also currently using these to store construction paper and coloring books for the kids.

Clear Plastic Stacking Bin with Lid

These light stacking bins are one of my favorite ways to store and sort small toys.  The lids are simple to use for little fingers and don’t smudge.  I have eight of these in our playroom and they make everything look so neat and tidy even when it really is not.

Montauk Bin

A storage basket pretty enough to display in plain sight.  I love these on open shelving, in playrooms and in closets.  The weaving is plastic and wipes clean and the liner is washable.

Curver Knit Storage Basket

A really great grab and go basket option.  The handles are great for both kids and adults.  Plus, the plastic is sturdy enough for everything from toys to extra toiletries.

Stockholm Photo Box

Photo boxes are great for so much more than photos.  I keep these in the kids’ closets for memory items and in our closets for keepsakes.  We have them downstairs for holiday cards, birth announcements and anything else special to hold onto.

Nordic Baskets

I could write a novel about my love of Nordic Baskets.  They are the sturdiest storage basket there is.  They look clean and neat in cabinets and on shelves and work in every room and for every need.  I dare say that these are my ultimate Container Store favorite because of their endless versatility.

Stackable Shoe Drawer

I will admit that I have yet to use these for shoes ever.  Some of my shoe drawers are over ten years old and still in great shape.  They work really well for so many things, from bathroom and makeup storage to office storage.  We also have used these in the larger sizes for Lego’s and smaller character toys, as well as arts and crafts.  They are a bit pricier, but they work and they last!

Bin Clip Labels

It pains me to include these because the price is steep, but I love these clip labels so much that I had to.  They fit on virtually everything and make your labeling look so finished.  They are the perfect finishing touch to any organization project.

If you made it this far, thank you for indulging me.  Talking about organization is clearly one of my favorite topics.  If you want some non-Container Store recommendations, I have some in this post about bins and baskets.  And if you have any Container Store favorites that I missed, please let me know!  My sweet friend Amanda told me it is my niche and I am trying to run with is because it brings me so much happiness.  And in 2020, we all need a little more happiness!
