It’s the time of year when all of the regular clothes start to hibernate and we wear a lot more swimwear. However, my days of wearing cute bikinis that are meant for lounging by a pool while reading a book are no more. While I know they will happen again, I’m enjoying splashing around with kids and watching them learn to love swimming. Now, I’m in a stage of life where I have to be in the pull with a toddler constantly, so I need swim that doesn’t move and feels comfortable. I call this the mom-friendly swimwear edit because every bathing suit or cover up is great for staying in place while you swim with your kids. They are all going to be comfortable, wash and wear well and are not the top choices for sunbathing.

one // I own multiple cover up’s in this material from the same brand and it feels so nice on your skin after a long day at the pool or beach. Plus, they have enough coverage to work as regular clothing!

three // One of my all-time favorite cover ups, ever. Mine is six years old and still looks bright white. It washes really easily with other whites and is perfect with a little knot in the front to change up the look.
four // If you’re looking for a versatile high-waisted black bikini bottom, then these are it! I sized up so that I could wear it higher, but these run true to size.
five // My favorite cover up ever – this is the shorter version of number three and I cannot express how much I love this. It’s pricey, but so well made and I love wearing it!
six // I tend to be suspicious of Amazon bathing suits, but this one is such a winner. I reach for this more than any other suit and I love, love, love the pattern mixing.
seven // I snagged these from Target and love the side cut out detailing. They are a high-rise fit with coverage, not anywhere as skimpy as they appear in the picture.
eight // A super-flattering and comfortable one piece with the sweetest scallop detailing.
nine // My all-time favorite bathing suit that I keep repurchasing. This fits true to size and is so flattering on. It’s incredibly comfortable, doesn’t move and is great for chasing after toddlers in.
ten // I’ve been eyeing this cutie thanks to its stripes and ruffles. I love the dimension the two give it and how versatile the colors are.
eleven // The perfect swingy top to pair with either pair of black bottoms. It’s got a mesh material that feels so lightweight and dries really quickly. Plus, the perfect pop of leopard.
twelve // A fabulous pareo at an equally fabulous price. Toss it on as a your coverup and go!
