Well hi there friends!  How are you all doing?  I’ve been away from here for a couple of weeks because I wasn’t in the headspace to post.  I’m sure most of you can relate to this given current situations.  I’ve been devouring the news, stress shopping for groceries and activities to keep the kids busy when school would inevitably close.  And then all of the work and school closures started rolling in and I just didn’t sleep for about five days.  But the first week of being home and socially distancing began and a new routine is forming and I’m feeling a little better.  I’m still super anxious because it’s just a crazy time (and it’s who I am, lol.)

However, I’m moving forward right now.  I can’t control what is going on around us in the world, but I can control how I contribute to it.  I’ve got some content planned around being home bound and ways we can help that I hope to share in the coming days and weeks.  It’s nothing ground breaking, but it truly helps me to write and create.  So does reading what other bloggers are putting out there.

How are you doing?  I hope that you’re okay and safe and secure.  So many people aren’t right now, and my heart is breaking for them.  I’m also so grateful for the brave and selfless medical personnel on the front lines of this.  They put themselves at risk on a daily basis to help the rest of us.  As do those working in our grocery stores, pharmacies, and any business that cannot close right now.

Because the kids are at home and I’m not shuttling them around to activities, we have been able to redirect how we use our time.  I’m tackling organization projects and we are spending so much more time outside and moving around.  In times of uncertainty and anxiety, these little blessings can mean so much.  It took me a few days to get to this point.  But I’m going to try to see positivity instead of anxiety.

If you ever want to chat, please reach out to me.  I’m not expert in anything, but I would love to listen and be a friend.  As always, thank you for taking the time to pop in here and reading.

It’s been quite a ride and I fear we’re here for the long haul – a few months at least. It’s been tough but I have been trying to focus on Sophia and being present for her. I hope you’re staying safe and healthy! Cant wait to read your content.

Sending all the hugs sweet friend. I hear ya! I feel like just a week and a half ago I wasn’t that concerned, then last week we hunkered down at home, and this week I’m scared. It’s been a wave of emotions as I’m also nervous about my husband’s job as he works for a large resort company, and lay offs could be on the horizon. So.much.stress.

I feel like I’m in the same spot..but working from home is not going so great! If I could just do projects from home I think I’d be okay! Haha. Just sitting here trying to work when I know all the shit that I could be doing is stressing me out!

Oh my goodness I completely agree! It’s not like a break from real life, which makes it so hard. I’ve taken to late night project-ing, and all semblance of schedules feel so far out of grasp. Sending you lots of hugs friend and hope we are out of this soon!
