A gold necklace is the epitome of a classic, feminine accessory. They’re perfect to put on and wear for weeks at a time. It’s easy to layer them with other dainty chains or stacked with a statement piece. There are so many options that fit any taste, style, and budget. I like to add to my collection slowly and purposefully over time. I’m trying to curate pieces that have special meaning and bring happy memories when I wear them.
With Valentine’s Day approaching, a gold necklace is a perfect gift to give or receive. Today I want to share a few of my favorite gold necklaces and why I love them! These are great for a birthday gift, push present, or just to celebrate a special moment in life. If you know someone shopping for you who may need a little hint, hint about a gift, send them to this post. ????

Josh gifted me my nameplate necklace ten years ago, and I still love it. It’s very Carrie Bradshaw-esque and something that comes back in style regularly. This is a great gift for a girl of any age because it is personal and a simple, fun thing to wear.
My mom and I both have a very similar necklace to this diamond bar that is a fabulous layering base.
A diamond cluster is unique and beautiful, making for a a big statement in a small piece. I’ve had this one since Riley was born and it reminds me of her heartbeat while being monitored during labor.
The Maya Brenner sideways initial necklace is such a fun take on the traditional monogram. It’s easy to customize with extras like stars or hearts, as well as placement of the initials.
I love the symbolism of the connection necklace. It’s a really sweet gift for a loved one – perfect for a Valentine!
The star necklace has been a big hit for a few years now because it’s whimsical and fun to wear.
A loves me knot is classic and preppy, plus a great price. It’s a great bridesmaid gift or first piece for a tween starting a jewelry collection.
A diamond bezel is at the top of my wish list right now. It’s perfect to wear on a daily basis and mix with other necklaces.
The baby squad goals initial necklace is all over the blogosphere, and for good reason. It’s truly fun to wear and falls beautifully, no matter the amount of initials.
Check out this post featuring my favorite dainty jewelry, too!
If gold isn’t your metal of choice, almost all of these are available in white gold or silver, too. I’m also using these little clasps to extend necklaces for layering and mixing lengths. They’re magnetic and super easy to use and transform your necklace layering game!
