Hi friends!  I wanted to put together a catch up post today to play catch up and organize my thoughts into one place.  The kids are back to school and we are re-adjusting to that schedule.  Riley is also in school (eek!), too!  Scratch that, she went to school once and then immediately got sick and has missed every day since.  Needless to say, it’s been a little crazy and I think I’ve had more than my fill of back to school nights.  I’m also fully tapped out on the never ending back to school shopping.  I swear these lists get longer each year and they come home with another one every day!  Fingers crossed that last night’s Target supply run was my last!

I must have at least ten blog post drafts waiting in my queue, that I just cannot seem to get to.  I’m fighting Riley’s cold and just trying to get used to our new hours.  Even adjusting sleep back one hour seems to throw me so far off.  I’ve never been able to survive on just a few hours a sleep (but I really wish I could!) and am just dragging right now.  I live for a good schedule, but the adjustment period is no joke.  Or maybe that just means I’m getting older faster.  Just kidding.  But not really.  And back to school is always a little jolting after a delicious Summer of fun and lax schedules.  But all of my kids seem so happy with their classes and teachers and are doing great so far!  And that is all that matters at the end of the day!

We are on the last season of Shameless after bingeing it all Summer.  I really didn’t think I would like this show, but Josh and I both got hooked quickly.  I know it’s coming to an end, so I’m really interested to see how they wrap this up.  Love or hate them, I think we all want the Gallaghers to end up doing better in the end.  But that leaves us with a new dilemma – what to watch next?!  We’ve already finished the usual suspects like Stranger Things, This Is Us, Dead To Me, etc.  Are you watching The Boys on Prime?  I’m so ready for Chase Crawford to come back to tv post-Gossip Girl, so why not? ????

We’re loving the Pampers Pure diapers for Riley recently.  I had started using them on her when they first launched right around her birth.  And now they have fun prints, which have really stepped up the game – and cuteness!  You can customize your order choices on their website and mix and match patterns.  I usually just pick them up at Target, and the corresponding wipes.  Riley has super sensitive skin and is prone to frequent rashes, so cleaner diapers are a must, but I really don’t love the prices for most brands.  I highly recommend these if your in a similar situation!  Influenster sent me a pack, but we have been using these for almost two years and continue to do so.  Which also brings to mind the fact that we are on the cusp of beginning potty training.  I’m so unprepared for this, even though we have gone through it twice before.  Do you have any good tips or tricks to share before we dive into this again?

We are soaking up every second of Summer that we can before it’s gone.  Even with school in, we still try to get to the pool and be outside as much as we can before the temperatures start to dip.  I’ve had my eye on a Bogg Bag since last year, but getting my hands on one was so challenging.  These sell out immediately!  I managed to snag one as soon as they went on pre-order in June and it finally arrived this week!  I think I was about to cry when I opened the box because I never thought I would get my hands on one!  A lot of the moms in my neighborhood carry them to the pool and they look so convenient and handy!  The square shape is great for fitting a lot and it comes with snap-in interior bags for your small items.  If you’re ever in a boutique and see one of these for sale, grab it.  Don’t even think about it, just purchase!  And then let me know if they have extras because I clearly need another one (I don’t, but I do.)

Josh and I went to the wedding of one of his co-workers last weekend, which was so fun.  We haven’t been to a wedding in a few years, so it was nice to do that again and just have fun!  We also took the kids to Candytopia when it was finishing its Atlanta run.  My very honest take on it:  not worth it.  It is very rigid, there are tons of lines and everything seemed so worn down.  The concept is fun and you really do leave with lots of candy from each space, but we all felt like it was just made for social media snaps.

Okay, so that’s my little snippet of everything going on lately.  Truly, nothing very exciting, but I am asking you all for lots of advice because all of you ladies always have great tips!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a great rest of your week!
