Happy Tuesday friends! How was your holiday weekend? I love Easter and Passover for so many reasons, but the fact that it is officially warm weather season is high on that list. I’m currently writing this post, sitting on our (finished!) porch while the kids play in this perfect weather. We’ve got to soak up every second of this before the daily humidity levels hit 95%.
Life is flying by right now, as it tends to do at the end of the school year. Yes, school ends crazy early here. I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that Summer break is less than one month away. Concerts, plays, school parties, the list of things seems to never end, but I love that they’re all for happy reasons. It’s getting a little crazy keeping up with it all. And so bittersweet to see my kids leave another grade behind.
I’m trying to plan our Summer schedule, which includes camps for the big kids. Mom question – what do you do if your child isn’t willing to go to camps but you think it would be a good experience for them? I’m in that situation with Greyson right now. I don’t want him to miss out on some fun experiences, but I also don’t want to force him to do something he’s not sure about. I would love any tips or input you have on this because I honestly don’t know what to do!
We’ve devoted the last few weeks to tons of house projects, and we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. It feels so good to have so many things checked off the list and see our house really start to come together after two years of living here. I’m sort of ashamed that it took so long to actually get it together, in all honesty. But moving when you’re a million months pregnant and having a newborn apparently pushes things back really far. But, I actually love that we waited and I made solid, non-hormonal choices this time!
Hope that your week is off to a great start! See you back here soon!
