YL Essential Orders Products

Hey ladies!  I wanted to chat about one of my favorite things today, Young Living!  You all may know that I am totally into essential oils and hopped on the bandwagon a few years ago.  However, I’ve found it to be a huge benefit to our lifestyle as a family and have not stopped incorporating them daily.  In fact, we use them multiple times a day for various reasons.  I know and totally get that you may be rolling your eyes at this.  And this is completely okay!  If it’s not for you, I’m okay with that and will not be offended if you don’t want to read about this.  But if you are interested, then I’m going to delve a little deeper today and chat more specifically about products that I order.  Young Living started with essential oils and has really grown into the holistic care industry over the years.  It’s become a one stop shop for me for many different things that I know are going to be safer for my family to use.

bath bombs

There is nothing better after a long day or an intense workout than a hot bath.  Possibly with a good book and a glass of wine – basically like a mini vacay!  I’ve loved bath bombs since I discovered them but they’re often pricey and often full of iffy ingredients.  I love these because I get a resealable bag and the lavender smells divine.  My kids love them too!  They’re perfect for a pre-bedtime bath to wind down for bed.  Lavender supports sleep and relaxation so I am all for anything like that for my kids.

body lotion

If you scan any body lotion in a mass retailer on the EWG app, you’re bound to be shocked by some of the scarier ingredients.  It’s fairly difficult to fin da great body lotion with safer ingredients that comes in a comparable consistency, but this one does it.  I’m partial to the Sensation one for the smell only.  There are multiple options for scents, but I add a few extra drops of my essential oils straight to the bottle to make it my own.  I generally go for Stress Away, Lavender or Joy because of what they support and how great they smell!

brush cleaner

I’m rarely satisfied with brush cleansers, but I love this one!  The bar consistency is fantastic for swirling your brush against to get a deep wash.  I also love that it comes in its own case to make clean up and storage easy.  And the best part is that it actually works and gets brushes deeply cleaned!

baby lotion

This is a great, cleaner alternative to most mainstream brands.  Both the kids and I love this lotion and use it daily.  It is a great consistency for application and all three of my kids and myself use it.  The smell is not overpowering and it provides gentle, lasting moisture.

brush mat

If you’re cleaning your makeup brushes, this is a game changer!  It makes cleaning easier, faster and more thorough.  I love that this particular one comes in black – it makes it look extra chic.  It helps keep your skin clean and the tiny divots help ensure a deeper clean for brushers.  To clean this, I just rinse with my Thieves dish soap, but any kind works.

citronella oil

If you live in the South, or basically anywhere with bugs, this is a great oil to have on hand.  I place this on cotton balls and drop them anywhere extra buggy.  We had awful fruit flies (sorry, TMI) and putting two drops of this on cotton daily helped them to disappear completely and stay gone.  I diffuse this on our porch when we are outside for cleaner bug prevention than the traditional candles.

baby wash

If I’m going to have to pick a favorite on this list, this may have to be it.  This is another product that the kids and I all use.  It’s so gentle, so mild and safe to use.  I use this on Greyson and Riley to wash their hair and it leaves them clean but not greasy.  Last but not least, I use this to shave my legs with and it works great!

They are so fab! I noticed that a small person in my house helped themselves to one while we were out the other night lol. And the mat (or any version of something similar) really are brush cleaning game changers!
