Hi friends!  Today is THE day – officially one week left until Christmas.  Which means that we are in the home stretch – it’s time to watch all of the holiday movies, eat all of the cookies and do all of the holiday things.

There are two things I require for my outfits around the holidays:  that they need to be one: cozy and two: cozy.  So that is why I’m sharing this cozy holiday look today.  I would honestly wear elastic waistbands on constant rotation if I could, but sometimes, a little more is more.  Mixing cozy with one piece that is just a little bit extra (this cami is that kind of thing) can elevate your look with minimal effort.  And minimal effort is key when you’re going all out with shopping, wrapping, baking and decorating.

Tips For Cozy Holiday Style

  • Keep your pants casual
  • Add one glam piece
  • Point flats or a stacked heel
  • Minimal jewelry
  • Make sure you feel comfortable!
  • Big sunglasses hide tired eyes
  • An oversized tote to carry a bottle of wine in

My number one rule is to always wear casual pants!  They are the first item on you to become uncomfortable when you’re stuffing your face with all of the holiday goodies (I’m not judging!)  Stick with a point flat or stacked heel bootie to look a little dressier without sacrificing comfort when you’re on your feet.  Don’t go overboard with your accessories – pick one stand out one (the heart sunglasses here.)  And always carry an oversize bag to stash gifts or a hostess gift (bottle of wine) in!

Side note on this bag:  I love it and use it constantly.  But it went on sale and sold out immediately.  Sadly, it doesn’t look like there is a restock, but I found a couple of other great options.  The first is this MZ Wallace tote in camo.  I own it in gray and use it for so much.  It’s such a versatile, light weight bag that doesn’t show wear and tear.  I’ve also been eyeing this Rebecca Minkoff tote for a while now.  It’s so cute and I’ve only heard great things about it.  Both are perfect gifts for any lady in your life if you’re still shopping!

How do you stay cozy without sacrificing style?  Share your tips so we can all use them!  Thank you so much for reading!  Hope that your week is off to a great start!
