I’m currently writing this post with a pup snuggling up next to me while I catch up on the most recent episode of Bachelor in Paradise. This Leo/Kendall/Grocery Joe situation is majorly stressing me out! I’m a Leo fan on The Bachelorette, but now he’s a totally different guy. I’m not invested in these shows at all though you guys. 😉
It’s been a bit since I’ve managed to get a blog post together (or anything, really!) Life is more hectic than usual lately, so I’m getting my act together and back to blogging with a little catch up sesh. That’s what I love about blogging, chatting with you ladies is like an hours long phone call with a bestie!
Truth be told, I’m not feeling super inspired or motivated these days. Getting back into the swing of the school year, juggling a home renovation (more on that later!) and daily life just builds up. Does anyone else feel that way ever? And does it feel like I say this basically every month/season/year? You’re a broken record Lindsay! Every day seems busier than the last, and when I sit down to type out a sentence, something immediately comes up (snacks, homework, playdates.) Time management and scheduling is a major weak spot for me and something I mention frequently, so I plan on focusing on that right now. Again. 😉
And just for cuteness, two of my biggest handfuls lately. Riley is so clingy these days, which I love because I have someone to snuggle constantly. However, when I need to get things done (cook dinner, get dressed, etc.) everything takes ten times longer. It’s a very good problem to have! Her puppy bestie isn’t having the same kind of problems, though. She spent a week in the hospital only to be told she has heart and liver failure. I’m so sad that her time with us will be shorter, but we are so lucky to have amazing vets who make her comfortable and happy and here with us!
We are also embarking on a full basement renovation and mini kitchen addition, which is hectic and exciting. Our basement’s contents are currently spread throughout the rest of our house, which makes things… cozier. But seriously, if you come over in the next six weeks or so, I apologize for the boxes and furniture you trip over. I’m so excited for the finished product and the extra storage and guest space we will have though!
So that is what is going on. Nothing too wild or exciting, just life in general. Thank you for letting me catch up and vent with you all! I’m sharing some recent outfits below and keep reading for a discount code!
