Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I’m so excited to share our Thanksgiving table with you today. Does anyone remember right after high school and college when this was the best night of the year? You got to go home and reunite with all of your friends for one glorious night. These days, this night is usually spent cooking as many things ahead of time for the big meal as possible. And being super excited to share my Thanksgiving table. Oh, how the times have changed. 😂
This is our first Thanksgiving in our new house and with a real dining room. I absolutely love having a separate dining room. I was able to get our Thanksgiving table set up ahead of time and not worry about needing space or any little hands touching it. I’ll be honest, the room is 75 percent finished. You can see the original design idea here. We still need to get a new dining room table, and I am itching to replace the hutch with a banquet. But, it’s still a really good, usable space. And my kids don’t like to go in there, so it actually stays clean!
This year, our Thanksgiving table is a little more rustic, with lots of white, orange and beige. Josh made a video, which is a first for this space. I never thought to utilize my video editor husband for the blog before, oops. Let me know your thoughts on the video!
