Happy weekend babes!  It’s crazy how much I look forward to the weekends right now.  Back to school is kicking all of our butts, with the major time adjustment and extra work.  School starts a full hour earlier here and the bus comes an hour and a half earlier.  Our sleep cycles are so off and we are all crashing every night.  I love going to sleep earlier and waking up earlier, so I am loving it.  My kids, not so much.  Also, homework.  Not just kids’ homework, there is parent homework basically everyday.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and just so over it all.  I have had some minor complications arise which has sent me to the high-risk doctor.  This means that I am at a doctor’s office a minimum of two times per week right now.  I’m selfishly hoping for an early arrival, but I’ll take what I can get at this point!  It’s so crazy thinking that this will be the last few days/weeks I will ever be pregnant and I need to soak them in.

All of that being said, I just miss feeling like myself.  I miss wearing my clothes and not always being out of breath and exhausted.  I bit the bullet and started shopping for post-baby clothes that I have been eyeing.  These maternity duds need to be retired for good!

Enough of all that, let’s chat about the fun stuff from this week!

  1. Can we talk about how jealous I am of your built-ins?! My husband and I constantly say that’s what’s missing from our home. Girl I hear ya on being over it at this point, you’re right where I was this time last year. Definitely a bittersweet time, and hope that lil’ miss decides to make an early appearance. Sending lots of hugs <3

    • We added some in our old house with a Pinterest DIY using Ikea ones and they came out great! Super easy and affordable to do!

    • I think everything is ok, it’s just all over the place and every doctor tells me something different. I swear I spend most of my days driving to and from appointments and in waiting rooms. GAH!

  2. Oh my! I’m 35 weeks and I’m feeling you on so much of the same things! My oldest went back to school this week and we are all trying to adjust to the earlier schedule. Thankfully, homework doesn’t start until next week but that’s not far away. Haha. And I keep telling myself shoot for full term! So two more weeks! You look beautiful by the way even if you really don’t feel it. Will be following along from now on!
