The Weekend Round Up

{ snow day moment }

Fa, la, la, la, Friday!  I’m always so happy to see this day.  I’m also a little crazy and love Monday’s, too, but that’s not for today!  This has been a WEEK!  Between the time change and the crazy amounts of snow and ice, I have no idea what day or time it is at any given moment.

I’m 15 weeks pregnant this week and I was hoping for some relief from those first trimester symptoms, but this week sure let me know that doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon.  I have been having massive headaches that wake me up in the middle of the night in pain and constant round ligament pain.  I seriously feel like a grumpy old lady constantly complaining to Josh about all of my aches and pains!  My food aversions don’t seem to be going away anytime soon either, but maybe I have a future as a vegetarian?  If you have any tips or tricks for any of these joys of pregnancy, please share them!   I apologize again for my pregnancy rant.  My poor husband hears the brunt of it and he can’t offer me as much first hand advice as you ladies!

We have been plowing away at house projects and will hopefully wrap up a couple of more this weekend.  I plan on doing a full home tour, mostly because I want to remember every room just the way it is right now.  I love to move things around and re-organize, and wish I had pictures of what things were like before I moved and changed them.  #nostalgic

Now, let’s get into everything good this week!

__________________________________________________________

+  I love Mallory’s blog and got totally lost in her home tour the other day.  She has got some serious style and an eye for decor!

+  White on white is the chicest way ease into Spring, or any season in my book.

+  Snail slime and how to rub it all over your face.  Not a joke!

+  Hanging baskets that I can envision as toy storage or a chic way to store flip flops.

+  I can’t stop browsing Asos’ maternity dresses.  They are dreamy and wallet-friendly and what pregnant dreams are made of.

+  You all know my love of swing tanks.  Found another one!

+  I also found the most perfect pink lace dress!  I have a short sleeve and long sleeve top version of this and love both.

+  A great brown leather sandal is a warm weather staple.  This one is so cute and less pricey than most.

+  Glitter flats.  Just because.

Have a fabulous weekend!  -XO

  1. OK- want to talk about weird – I had a dream about you last night and how you were saying that you weren’t feeling well and I was just reassuring you that it would go away soon!! Crazy right?! Happy weekend girl! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

That is so funny!! Thank you for the reassurance real and dream wise 🙂 Hope you’re having the best time on your trip!!! XO

  2. YES to all the white on white! I’m so sorry you’re still not feeling well, sending you lots of *hugs* and hope they begin to subside soon. A lot of people talk about waking up one morning, and it was like a switch was flipped between their 1st and 2nd trimesters. I didn’t have a sudden change, but I did notice that the nausea and exhaustion started to ease up over a few weeks before it was completely gone and I felt like myself again. You’ve got this gurlie, and are in the home stretch of the yuckiness phase! Happy Friday <3

  3. I’m so sorry that you’re feeling crummy, but I hope your second trimester goes smoother! Love the links this week, but especially those glitter flats! xx, I’m Fixin’ To

Aren’t they so cute?! I don’t think my preggo feet will fit in them so someone must buy them and wear them for me!
